Here at BMB Fitness, we run a class specifically geared for the younger population and the focuses for each session are different!

FUNCTIONAL TEENS
11-15 YEARS
This would not be to dissimilar from the exercises that we focus on in our adult classes, except the emphasis will be on learning movements that allow them to grow and practice rather than being over concerned on the use of weights, plus of course bringing in the elements of fun and friends.

The focus of these sessions would be to build upon movement patterns that develop their functional movements (squat, press, pull, hinge lunge), whilst allowing time for mobility, which is often neglected at schools.
​
An example session would follow this format:
​
Warm-up: For the movements of the day, which may still be a game based warm up.
​
Movement: For example, 5 sets of 5 squats with a bar or PVC pipe.
​
METCON: Feared towards building skills such as team work and coordination via synchronized movements. I.e. doing sit ups at the same time.
​
Cool-down: includes mobility and allows time to chat

PRICING - 30 P/M
We believe that building upon foundations through consistent attendance is important to really get the full benefit out of these classes. As such, we do not offer a pay as you go model for either the KIDZ FIT or FUNCTIONAL TEENS packages as we want to help children build that commitment to training.
